The opening of the exhibition of the Battle of Stalingrad Foundation took place at the Consulate General of Russia in Strasbourg.

On February 13, the exhibition “Stalingrad in the fate of France”, prepared by the Battle of Stalingrad Foundation (Volgograd), opened at the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Strasbourg.

The exhibition was opened by Yuri Soloviev, Consul General of the Russian Federation in Strasbourg. He noted that the exhibition project from Volgograd is an effective tool for public diplomacy, bringing together the peoples of Russia and France and contributing to the improvement of Franco-Russian relations.
Further, the floor was provided by K.M. Volkov - head of the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office in France.
On behalf of the Battle of Stalingrad Foundation, a member of the Council of the Foundation, Honorary Citizen of the Hero City of Volgograd, chairman of the Volgograd Regional Branch of the Russian Peace Fund, Yuri Fedorovich Starovatykh, spoke.

At the invitation of the Battle of Stalingrad Foundation, the Chairman of the Volgograd City Duma Vladlen Kolesnikov and Deputy Head of the Department of Foreign and Regional Relations of the Office of the Head of Volgograd Sergey Ushakov took part in the opening ceremony of the exhibition.
Representatives of the patriotic organizations of France, the diplomatic corps of Japan, Tunisia, Morocco, the Czech Republic, political and public figures of France and Russia also attended the opening ceremony.
The management of the Battle of Stalingrad Foundation thanks the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Strasbourg for supporting the exhibition project and hopes to continue fruitful cooperation.

 

По приглашению Фонда «Сталинградская битва» в церемонии открытия выставки приняли участие председатель Волгоградской городской Думы Владлен Колесников и заместитель начальника управления зарубежных и региональных связей аппарата главы Волгограда Сергей Ушаков. Также в церемонии открытия приняли участия представители патриотических организаций Франции, дипломатического корпуса Японии, Туниса, Марокко, Чехии, политические и общественные деятели Франции и России. Руководство Фонда «Сталинградская битва» благодарит Генеральное консульство Российской Федерации в Страсбурге за поддержку выставочного проекта и надеется на продолжение плодотворного сотрудничества.
