The non-profit, non-governmental organization The Battle of Stalingrad Foundation (Volgograd) and the Rossotrudnichestvo Representation in the UK invite you to visit the exhibition Stalingrad in British History.

The non-profit, non-governmental organization “The Battle of Stalingrad Foundation” (Volgograd, Russia) and the Rossotrudnichestvo Agency branch in the United Kingdom invite you to attend the exhibition “Stalingrad in British History”.

During the Second World War Great Britain was the only nation in the world that had given a birth to a massive popular movement for raising gifts and donations to destroyed Stalingrad

Residents of 307 locations in the United Kingdom have rendered their assistance to Stalingrad during the difficult war years.

The exhibition will tell about the history of the Battle of Stalingrad and remind the facts of cooperation and solidarity of British people with the citizens of Stalingrad.

In the exhibition opening there will participate the leading Russian expert on the history of the Battle of Stalingrad, the author of the monograph “Stalingrad in Public Evaluation of Great Britain and the USA. 1942-1945”, President of the Battle of Stalingrad Foundation, Dmitry Belov, Ph.D.

The exhibition is a token of gratitude of Russian civil society to the people of United Kingdom for their help and invitation to further study and popularization of common ground in our common great history of the victory over Nazism.

Venue: Russia Culture House in London, 1st Floor, 37 Kensington High St.

The opening of the exhibition will take place on January 31, at 7.00 PM.

Великобритания – единственная страна в мире, в которой в годы Второй мировой войны было организовано массовое, всенародное движение по сбору пожертвований для разрушенного Сталинграда.

Жители более трехсот населенных пунктов Соединённого Королевства помогали Сталинграду в тяжелые военные годы.

Выставка расскажет об истории Сталинградской битвы и о фактах сотрудничества и солидарности британского общества со Сталинградом.

Выставка – это знак благодарности российского гражданского общества народу Великобритании за помощь и приглашение к дальнейшему изучению и популяризации точек соприкосновения в нашей общей великой истории победы над нацизмом.

В открытии выставки примет участие, ведущий российский специалист по истории Сталинградской битвы, автор монографии «Сталинград в оценке общественности Великобритании и США. 1942-1945 гг.», Президент Фонда «Сталинградская битва», кандидат исторических наук Дмитрий Александрович Белов.
